Supporting Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre
There are several ways you can support the Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre. You can make a donation, become a Centre member or enquire about our volunteering program. You can also become a Centre fan on our Facebook site and spread the word about the work we do!
Make a donation
Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre is non-government, not-for-profit, charitable organisation. The Centre is funded mainly by South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service. However, we also rely on donations to contribute to our basic running costs and providing subsidised assistance for women on low incomes. Your financial support will be put to good use and is very much appreciated. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

What your money can do:
Donations are used to provide services or subsidised services for women on low incomes, purchase and upgrade essential equipment, and contribute and expand our health promotion activities. Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre greatly appreciates all donations.
Become a member
As an incorporated association, Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre is based on a membership structure. Becoming a Centre member is another way you can support the Centre. Having a diverse and healthy membership base makes a stronger organisation, and means you have the opportunity to become involved in governance at the Centre by becoming a Committee of Women member. In order for Shoalhaven women to become a Centre member, women must complete the Application for Membership of the Association form, have this application accepted by the Committee of Women and pay a $5.00 annual fee. As a Centre member, women will receive a regular copy of the quarterly newsletter, Women's Biz.
Become a volunteer
Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre has a volunteering program. Volunteer positions may be available depending on current Centre resources, activities and programs. If you would like to find out more about volunteering at the Centre, please contact us.
